My Delightful Day

Hi! Hey! Ohh! My pretty little cabbages! (Definitely one of my new favourite things to say... "cabbage")

What a great day, hmm? Oh, I certainly think so! For once I didn't just sit around in my house, I actually went outside. Yeah, that's right, I left my house!

This morning I paged through a chocolate cookbook while watching Madagascar. I absolutely love cookbooks! I found lots of neat ideas that I shall be trying to recreate in the near future. Also, it has become my goal to successfully make a Baked Alaska. Eeee!

I went to 13th Ave. for a bit of shopping, which was super. The weather was pleasant, which was lovely for walking around. The only thing that wasn't very nice was that my time was cut a little short and I didn't get to all of the stores that I wanted to visit. Perhaps I will go again next weekend. I bought myself some Emily the Strange stationary and a journal from the paper-awesome store. Then I wandered around in a few other stores that had lots of pottery and more awesomeness. I bought a couple books from a second hand book store (an Elvis biography and The War with Hannibal). The man that worked in the book store had a long moustache, it was great, he looked like he belonged in a Western novel. I also bought my theory shizat. But like I mentioned, my time was cut short, and I'll tell you why.

You see, I went with my dear mother, and she wanted to go for coffee with her friendies at a certain time, and she decided that it would be more efficient to take me to her little coffee-get-together-thing-whatever. So yeah, she didn't want to be late for that. So after my 13th Ave. funtime, I headed over to that coffeeish place in the back of Book and Brier Patch. I had some nice tea, 2.00$ for a pot, which was about 4 cups. That's pretty good, hey? I also had some yummy chocolate cheese cake. I'm starting to enjoy cheese cake more and more now, maybe it's an acquired taste. I brang a book to read while eating and drinking and listening to my mom's conversation. My mom and her friends talked about gambling, menopause, telemarketers, and other useless stuff. The only good part to listen to was when they talked about the economy.

So, four cups of tea later, mummie and I headed to Sobie's to pick up some stuff for supper. We met a jolly old man that worked in the seafood section. Oh, he was sooo happy. I wish I could have kept him. Ahh! We ended up buying sole and smoked salmon, along with some other goods. Half way through our Sobie's journey, I realized that I had to pee real bad.

Then, then, oh yes, there's more! Then mum wanted to go to Sport Check, but instead of going there, I went to Chapters. When I arrived in Chapters I headed straight to the washroom, then I looked at some books. After that we went home and here I am. Sort of, I mean, it's almost 11:00, obviously other stuff happened. But you get the picture, right? Lovely.

I still have to study some social. Gotta know all the countries and most capitals and rives and mountains and bodies of water in Europe for Monday. Shhiiieeeetttt. Oh well, it'll work itself out, I'm sure.

Oh, while I was at Sobie's I forgot to pick up something for the cookies I'm planning on making tomorrow. D:

And I'm not sure what I'm going to use my journal for, I'm not gonna write in it about my day and such, especially when I have this nifty blog. So I donno. Ehh, any suggestions?

What a great day! :) I mean, yesterday was good, but it was a distant and fuzzy good. Today I'm just feeling great and connected. I hope tomorrow is even better! Yaay!

There's a hole in the armpit of my shirt. It's a freaking awesome shirt though, I should definitely wear it more often.

I guess that's all for now! Be safe and stuff!

Straight Voodoo News

Good evening, my little cabbages!

Ooh, today, today, today! As I had planned, today turned out to be just lovely! There were a few misfortunes, but over all things went pretty smoothly. I shall enter the night feeling relaxed and excited to begin a new day.

This morning I woke up and showered, just like I said I would. I dried my hair with that loud machine as well. I quite enjoyed having straightish hair, oh yes. I might look into doing this more often, as it turned out to be a good experience. After I tamed my hair I read and listened to music before walking to school. Yeah, that's right, I walked again. I love that it's getting warmer outside. But I know, I just know that it's gonna get cold again, so I don't want to raise my hopes too much.

My school day was lovely, though nothing too special. The most important thing that happened would be my beautiful unicorn-cassie drawing. Inspiration struck as I sat beside Cassie in Chemistry, listening to Mr. Teacherman talk about numbers and trying not to be aware of Josh's pitiful existence. Accompanying the picture were a few notes, such as "She is being hunted for her striped socks" and "FACT: The steam from one nostril can give power to 50,000 homes for one year". I'd have to say that it was a success. I wonder if Cassie is related to that lovely math teacher...?

Good news: I finished my book, "Running with Scissors".

Bad news: I need to find some more reading material.

Good news: Maybe I'll take a trip to 13th Ave. for some goods. (Books, paper, tea, sheet music)

Bad news: I have no one to take me.

Good news: If I go to 13th Ave., I'll be near a bakery! Yum!

Bad news: Meh.

All in all, I'm pretty excited for this weekend. I believe that some good things will happen, oh yes. Maybe I'll even find a poor soul to socialize with.

I hate facebook because of everyone's endless supply of pretty pictures of themselves. It just makes me want to burn their face or cause permanent damage to it, so that they wouldn't want to take so many self centered pictures. Grrrr! Ooookay, maybe I'm just a little jealous. Still, I think that it would do everyone a little good to be a little less self centered, myself included. I'd sure like to make some voodoo dolls or something. Does anyone want to make some with me? :D

Ooh! I went for sushi tonight, it was fantastic of course. However, every time I go for sushi I always spill the tea all over the table when I try to pour it. And every time my dad parks in the 15 minute loading zone. But it's still a lovely dining experience.

Seeing as I have been typing for a while and still I have nothing profound to say, I shall leave in peace.

Dry Winter Salsa

Hi, children, pretty pretty children! :)

Mmm.. right now I am enjoying some tortilla chips and salsa! Delicious! Today was a nice day for the most part. I definitely enjoyed having a spare, oh yes. I spent the time eating pasta salad and reading one of my sister's philosophy books.

Something worth noting is that I actually walked to and from school. That's right! I was far from lazy, I slipped into my shoes and walked for 15ish minutes to school in the morning and then to my house when school had finished. I was pretty proud of the fact that I wasn't out of breath, seeing as I'm horribly out of shape and all winter I have been finding rides to school. The reason I walked was the weather, of course. It looked pretty damn decent outside, decent for winter, that is. I guess that it wasn't too bad outside, but I certainly prefer walking when it's warm. The only thing I like about walking in the winter would be the sparkles. Ooh! With the frost and delicate snowflakes, everything sparkles so nicely! Still, I can buy sparkles in a tube from Wal Mart, so warm summer walks definitely win, and it seems that winter is a sore loser. I'm not a huge fan of spring, either. I mean, yeah, it's finally warming up, great! But when the snow melts, all of the garbage and dog shit that had been covered up is now exposed.

I've put some careful thought into this, and I think that I am going to shower tomorrow morning before school and then dry my hair with that loud machine. Usually I shower at night and go to sleep with wet hair, so when I wake up it looks pretty weird. Drying my hair by machine would make it lighter, straighter, and more easy to manage. This would definitely make me happy. The problem is that it uses up so much of my time. I have to spend 30-40 minutes standing in front of a mirror drying my hair. It's definitely not fun, and then the next day I'd have to do it alll over again. Still, I think it would be a better use of my time than IP.

Grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch tomorrow! Niiiiiice! I love grilled cheese sandwiches, especially with salsa. The grilled cheese sandwiches at school aren't that great though, and they don't come with salsa. I'm actually running out of salsa myself, it's a real pity.

Oh! I just remembered, my favourite part of winter is the grey skies. Well one of my favourites anyways.

Haha. I just heard a commerical for Dr. Phil, "How to get your offspring off the couch." then chanting, "Dr. Phil! Dr. Phil!" Honestly, that show is so horrible. It doesn't solve anything, just exploits people's problems.

Eating chips and salsa isn't very enjoyable because my teeth hurt. The chips are stale too.

I can't wait for Valentines Day because I love the candy! Easter has good candy too. Maybe those holidays tie for the best holiday candy. I also love colourful valentines! Last year mine were Transformers, I wonder what I should get this year! ;o Ooh! I'm so excited!

I'm getting near the end of my book and I'm a little worried because I don't know what to read next. Perhaps I will take a trip to a book store this weekend. Yes! That does sound lovely! I should also have a Harry Potter movie marathon this weekend with me and my basement spiders. Looks like I'll also have to look into getting Valentines Day supplies as well. Maybe I'll bake some brownies too! Ooh, this is going to be a lovely weekend, just lovely, I know it!

Mmm... I supposed I'd better stop now, this blog isn't very interesting and I don't think that it'll get any better if I continue to ramble. Now to start my social homework! Yeeess!

First Period

Hello children of all ages!

Yes, yes, hello! I find myself in the computer lab at school, enduring an IP class, and it seems that I have just created this lovely blog, as part of an assignment. I don't really know why I am actually investing my precious time and effort into this blog, since I will be dropping this class as soon as possible. But for now it is something to do and perhaps I will continue this outside of school.

Well well, what does one write a blog about? I haven't the slightest idea. I wish that teacherman would have maybe explained this, or rather, I wish that I had been listening to him. But you can't blame me, can you? Listen to some bald man, or Scarlet Begonias (by Grateful Dead)? The choice was pretty obvious for me at the moment. However, I only slightly regret it now, since I don't really know what I'm doing. No worries though, like I mentioned, I'm dropping this class.

Also, I love how this program automatically saves my blog every few minutes! Brilliant! No more lost work due to computers going nuts!

Ah! I still have 30 minutes to waste before English. Oh, I just noticed something rather amusing about this bloggingprogramwebsitething. It says that I can attach labels to this post, much like a tag, I would think. The amusing part is that an example for a label is "scooters". Hahah. Is that what you're supposed to blog about? Scooters? I'm definately out of luck if that is the case because I admit that I know nothing about scooters, seeing as I am not an old lady or a nerdy 7 year old. Truth be told, I'm a nerdy 16 year old, so I guess I missed the boat on that one.

Today I am going to the dentist, I'm certainly not looking forward to this, no, not one bit. Those teeth cleaning people will poke and pry and get mad at me for not flossing good enough. And I'll waste an hour or more of my life, sitting in that chair, watching Star Trek and cooking shows while they attack my mouth. Then, they send me home and I go to sleep and then I wake up in the middle of the night with horrible pain in my mouth. No, I definatly do not look forward to visiting the dentist today.

Ooh look! My blog was autosaved again! Yaaaaay!

This room is quite cold, would it kill them to turn up the heat a bit? Just a little? Maybe it would, seems as though it kills those people to do lots of stuff, mmm? I'll have to secretly attack the heatbuttonthing when no one is looking. That, or go find a sweater. Decisons, decisons. Is that how you spell decisons? Autosaved again, thanks blogmakerthing, what would I do without you?

Soo... my blog making was interupted by some awesomeness! Yes! I went and dropped the class. However, I think, at least for now, I shall continue this blogging business.

I went to the dentist and it was okay. It sucked like I had expected, but at least they didn't go on about my puffy gums. I was also hoping that they would say! Hey man! You don't need those elastics no mo'! But they didn't. The dentist, however, was very very excited because my teeth moved 1mm. Cool..

I've also finally finished my Harry Potter adventure. Yaaaaay! Three cheers for Jessica! Now I'm reading a book called "Running with Scissors", it's delightfully twisted.

Well I suppose that's all for now, my dear children.
